    LSU transfer Xavier Pinson is down to three schools.

    The 6-foot-2 senior guard from Chicago is considering Georgia Tech, New Mexico State and Mississippi State, he told Jon Rothstein.

    Pinson averaged 9.8 points, 2.4 rebounds. and 4.8 assists last season at LSU.

    He opted to transfer from LSU after Will Wade was fired in March.

    Before that he played three seasons at Missouri, where he averaged 13.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists during his junior year.
