Class of 2022 four-star forward RJ Godfrey traveled to Ole Miss from Sept. 18-19 for his second official visit, spending time with head coach Kermit Davis.

“The energy and the pace the team practiced at stood out,” Godfrey said. “They all seemed to be really close to each other. Coach Davis is a great coach and ran their practice really well.”

Godfrey, the 6-foot-7, 210-pound small forward from North Gwinnett (GA), is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 46 small forward in the class of 2022.

“They just talked about how I would be a great SEC player because of my versatility and how I could play every where for them,” he said of the Rebels.

Godfrey took his first official visit to George Mason over the summer and plans to visit Georgia Tech in October for his third official. He is also looking to set up a visit to Utah.

He has also taken an unofficial visit to Georgia, which he broke down for ZAGSBLOG in June.
