Class of 2022 guard Nick Smith Jr. has added Kentucky to his list of schools as the Wildcats have started to show interest, he confirmed to ZAGSBLOG Monday.

“We’re having more conversation,” Smith said. “The culture around there [is what appeals to me],” Smith told ZAGSBLOG Monday. “A lot of people just look at this year and think the worst, but Kentucky has a great guard program and develops a lot of pros.”

Kentucky is yet to offer Smith.

After naming a Top 10 on Jan. 5, Smith is now considering Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Oral Roberts, Baylor, Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and Georgetown.

The 6-foot-4, 170-pound shooting guard from Sylvan Hills (AR), is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 2 shooting guard and No. 25 overall prospect in the Class of 2022.
