Duke has fallen out of the Associated Press Top-25 poll Monday for the first time since February 2016.

After falling to Virginia Tech on Jan. 12, Duke dropped to 5-3 overall (3-1 ACC).

Duke’s streak of 91 consecutive weeks in the Top 25 was second only to No. 9 Kansas, which extended its record to 229 weeks.

The top of the poll remained unchanged with Gonzaga, Baylor and Villanova maintaining their grip on the top-three, despite Villanova not playing a game since Dec. 23 due to COVID-19 protocols.

No. 18 Alabama and No. 24 UCLA were the two new additions to the AP Top 25.

The Crimson Tide improved to 11-3 (6-0 SEC) on the season after defeating Arkansas Saturday for its seventh consecutive win.

UCLA moved to 11-2 (7-0 Pac-12) with wins over Washington State and Washington.
