Houston’s Nate Hinton to turn pro, forgo remaining eligibility

University of Houston guard Nate Hinton will forgo his remaining two years of college eligibility and turn pro, per Mark Berman of Fox 26.
He has signed with agent Tallen Todorovich.
Former @UHCougarMBK guard Nate Hinton (@thatup_coming11) on signing with an agent and turning pro: “I’m at peace with it. I prayed long and hard about it. Through the guidance of the people around me I decided to just make that step and turn professional.”
Hinton averaged 10.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game as a sophomore during the 2019-20 season. He started in all 31 games for the Cougars.
As a freshman during the 2018-19 season, Hinton averaged 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He started in one game and had 37 games played.
