Jose Perez, the 6-foot-5 sophomore guard from Gardner-Webb, has cut his list to 10 schools.

Perez, who averaged 15.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists, is down to Memphis, New Mexico, Georgia Tech, Marquette, BYU, Minnesota, St. John’s, DePaul, Illinois and Iowa State.

The New York City native and PSA Cardinals alum has had Zoom calls so far with Minnesota, DePaul, Missouri, Rhode Island, Marquette and New Mexico with BYU soon.

He said he has “no timetable yet.”

“[I am] just weighing everything out with the people in my corner, especially coach Munch [Terrance] Williams [of the PSA Cardinals].”
