Rick Pitino adds two wings to Iona’s 2021 recruiting class

Rick Pitino and his staff continue to build their roster for the 2020-21 season and beyond.

Pitino has added his first and second commits in the 2021 class with the addition of Life Christian Academy (VA) wings Ikechi Chantilou and Kenard Richarson, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG Saturday.

Chantilou, a 6-foot-5 guard chose Iona over schools such as East Carolina, Old Dominion and Hampton, among others.

Chantilou will be joined by Life Christian Academy teammate Kenard Richardson, a 6-4 guard, has also committed to Iona. He’s another Class of 2021 commit. https://t.co/u7hAB0p5SP

Richardson, a 6-foot-4 guard, also held an offer from Hampton.
