    Rick Pitino confirmed on Twitter he will coach EuroLeague power Panathinaikos of Greece for the rest of the season. Pitino will coach his first game on Thursday.

    ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the story earlier this week.

    Panathinaikos is 6-7 and its roster includes  Nick Calathes, Georgios Papagianniss, Keith Langford, Deshaun Thomas, James Gist and the older brother of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis, as ESPN reported.
