Daron “Fatts” Russell, the 5-foot-10 Class of 2017 point guard from Team Final, has cut his list to six schools and set visits.

Russell is down to Seton Hall, Western Kentucky, La Salle, Rhode Island, Grand Canyon and SMU.

His visit schedule includes Western Kentucky (Aug. 26-28), La Salle (Aug. 31-Sept. 2), Rhode Island (Sept. 8-10), Grand Canyon (Sept. 16-18) and SMU (Sept. 23-25). He plans to visit Seton Hall unofficially in late September.

“Each school has a great coaching staff and all have a great plan for me in the future,” he said.

“I will pick the place I feel most comfortable and where I get a chance to play right away.”
