A native of the Phllippines, Paras initially committed to UCLA but withdrew from school in June after reportedly not meeting the school’s academic standards.

Paras, a three-star recruit, will join 6-3 point guard Davion Mintz as the incoming freshmen for Creighton. The Bluejays also get 6-3 guard Marcus Foster and 6-11 center Justin Patton eligible.
