  • Quade Green, the 6-foot point guard from Philadelphia (PA) Neumann-Goretti and the PSA Cardinals AAU program, will visit Kentucky unofficially on Wednesday-Thursday and could pick up an offer on the trip.

“He’ll be there Wednesday and Thursday,” Goretti coach Carl Arrigale said Monday on The 4 Quarters Podcast.. “I just talked to coach [Tony] Barbee [Monday] and I’m supposed to talk to Cal. It seems to be moving in that direction [of an offer]. Nothing’s official yet. Once they get him in the office and find out what his thinking is and what he’s thinking about.

“I know they do feel like their backcourt this year [Isaiah Briscoe, Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox] is going to be talented enough to all be gone possibly next year so they’re looking for players to come in and play. They see him as a Tyler Ulis maybe with a couple more inches, which is probably a pretty good comparison. He’s got the guts of burglar. He plays really hard, he’s not afraid of any moment and he watched the Kentucky teams with Tyler out there. They see him as being a guy who can play that similar role for them the next few years.”

Steph Curry, the first unanimous NBA Most Valuable Player recipient, and Under Armour Basketball return to the Bay Area to host the third annual SC30 Select Camp. The top high school guards in the nation will participate in the four-day program from June 28 -July 1, 2016.

The event includes several players from the New York/New Jersey, including Class of 2017 point guard Trevon Duval, formerly of St. Benedict’s Prep and now at Advanced Prep Internationa; Class of 2017 St. Raymond’s point guard Isaiah Washington; Class of 2017 Seton Hall commit Myles Cale of St. Patrick’s; Class of 2018 Hudson (N.J.) Catholic point guard Jahvon Quinerly; and Class of 2019 standouts Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis of the Ranney (N.J.) School.

Antoine, Lewis and teammate Alex Klatsky also took an unofficial visit to Stanford on Tuesday in advance of the camp.
