WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Hasahn French has a busy summer on his hands.

After playing in the Frankie Williams Classic on Thursday night, the 6-foot-7, 225-pound power forward from Commonwealth Academy and the PSA Cardinals headed to the Pangos All-American Camp this past weekend.

French will now visit Temple unofficially on Wednesday before heading to St. Louis this weekend for the Nike Elite 100.

While there on June 11-12, he will take an unofficial visit to St. Louis under new coach Travis Ford. When he returns, he will immediately visit St. John’s on June 13.

“When I come back I’m going to visit Rutgers and St. John’s,” French told SNY.tv Thursday night, adding that no date is set for the Rutgers visit.

After the St. John’s visit, French will hit the NBPA Top 100 Camp June 14-19.

French will also visit VCU in August.

He holds offers from Arizona State, Marquette, PItt, Rutgers, Temple, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, VCU, Providence and Iona, among others.

As for his upcoming visits, French said, “‘[St. Louis] has a great coaching staff and they sound like they really are interested. Also St. John’s and Rutgers, they sound very serious. And I like the way they handle themselves.

“I know that Rutgers is building themselves back up from losing a coach. And St. John’s they’re a very good program. If you’re a kid from New York, you always think about St. John’s.”

French plans to cut his list later this summer.

“I’ll probably cut my list around August when I sit down with my family,” French said. “Whenever I take that visit and I feel like it’s the school for me, then I’m going to decide.”

A combo forward, French looks forward to the next level.

“I will bring aggressiveness,” he said. “Being able to guard all positions and being able to attack if I have a bigger defender on me, being able to attack and score. And just being a great presence on defense and a great teammate.”

Added PSA Cardinals director Terrance “Munch” Williams: “He has proven himself to be one of the most productive power forwards in the country year In and year out. On and off the court, he is the perfect example of what a PSA Cardinals student-athlete is. He is truly a winner and will help whichever college or university he decides to attend will make the NCAA Tournament.”

Next month, French and his loaded PSA Cardinals squad — which also features Mohamed Bamba, Brandon Randolph and Quade Green — will be among the favorites to win the Peach Jam.

“Definitely,” he said. “If we play together and play like we should, we should definitely go out there and definitely try to win. I believe in our team.”
