Arizona has landed a commitment from Keanu Pinder, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound guard/forward from Hutchinson (KS) Community College.

Pinder is a native of Perth, Australia who recently took an official to campus.

Pinder averaged 10.2 points and 7.0 rebounds last season at Hutch, which went 32-5 and lost in the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship game.

“He’s a 6-9 highly skilled 3 man that can also play the 4,” Hutch assistant Jay Cyriac told SNY.tv. “He was the Jayhawk Defensive Player of the year. A two-year starter, he will thrive under Sean Miller as Kadeem Allen did. He’s very athletic.”

Arizona also landed a pledge last week from UNC Asheville transfer Dylan Smith.
