Delaware transfer Kory Holden has found a new home.

The 6-foot-2 Holden chose South Carolina over Baylor and Virginia Tech. He averaged 17.7 points, 4.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds last season at Delaware. He will have two years of eligibilty after sitting out the 2016-17 season.

“Frank Martin was honest and was able to communicate his plan to me,” Holden told SNY.tv on Monday. “I heard all good things about him through the process and his vision for me align with my personal goals. I enjoyed the visit and the guys. I feel it’s the best fit for me.”

The news was first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
