Following an official visit to UConn this past week, Taurean Thompson will take one to Seton Hall on Sunday and Monday.

“I know Coach [Shaheen] Holloway and Coach [Kevin] Willard well,” he said last week. “Seton Hall had a great year, they won the Big East Tournament. Coach Willard’s real cool, coach Shaheen is cool. I’ve been there a bunch of times and it’s like a family over there.”

The 6-foot-10 forward from Brewster (N.H.) Academy went off for 27 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks en route to co-MVP honors as Team New York beat Team East, 148-128, in the Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game on April 15 at Barclays Center.

He’s also considering Syracuse, Georgetown and Providence. He’s taken officials to Syracuse, Xavier and UConn.

Asked if he’s excited to getting it over with, he said, “Yeah, I’m really looking forward to it….When it feels right and I get all the pros and cons in.”
