After initially asking for releases from their Letters of Intent following the hiring of Kevin Stallings, Justice Kithcart and Corey Manigault both reaffirmed their commitments to the University of Pittsburgh.

Manigault, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Fairfax (VA) Paul VI, announced his plans on Tuesday, while Kithcart, a 6-2 point guard from Virginia Episcopal, did so Thursday after speaking with Stallings.

“Justice spoke to Coach Stallings [Thursday night] and re-confirmed his commitment to Pitt” James Kithcart told SNY.tv. “He told me that he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to compete for playing time in the ACC.”

Ranked the No. 15 combo guard in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.com, he also strongly considered TCU and Memphis.

Meantime, Stallings has already offered Aaron Thompson, a 6-2 junior point guard who is Manigault’s teammate at Paul VI. He also holds offers Vanderbilt, UConn, Miami, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and others.

One day after Pittsburgh named Kevin Stallings its new head coach, Justice Kithcart and Corey Manigault have both asked for their releases from National Letters of Intent to Pittsburgh.N
