The 7-foot Zimmerman averaged 10.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks this season for the Rebels, who are in the process of hiring a new coach for next season.

Zimmerman is projected as the No. 26 pick in the NBA Draft by DraftExpress.com.

“No surprise [he’s entering],” one NBA executive said. “Gone before 25.”
