Former Memphis commit Ar’Mond Davis committed to Alabama on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6 guard out of College of Southern Idaho averaged 10.9 points and 3.9 rebounds last season. Four days after committing to Memphis, he opened it up and then visited Texas A&M and Alabama and was considering LSU as well. Texas also offered.

“Ar’Mond was overwhelmed with great offers, but felt like Alabama and new coach Avery Johnson was the best fit for him,” CSI coach Jared Phay said.

“He is a very talented scorer. He can really shoot it but gets to the rim and finishes well.”
