LightfootOn the eve of his official visit to Kansas, Mitch Lightfoot had a home visit with St. John’s coach Chris Mullin and assistant Greg St. Jean.

“It went well,” Lightfoot, who Tweeted several pictures of the visit, told SNY.tv by text. “He’s a great dude with a great basketball mind.”

Lightfoot is a 6-foot-8 power forward from Gilbert (AZ) Christian.

He begins an official to Kansas on Friday, as does 6-10 center Udoka Azubuike.

Having already visited Utah and Stanford, Lightfoot will visit  St. John’s (Oct. 2-4) and Arizona (Oct. 10).

St. John’s is targeting several key players in 2016, including guards Shamorie Ponds and Rawle Alkins and JUCO wing Bashir Ahmed, among others.
