I highly recommend taking a few minutes to watch this documentary from Adya Beasley of NJ Advance Media on Iona star Isaiah Williams, who has lost 24 friends to gun violence in his hometown of Newark. Matt Stanmyre also wrote this great story.

This documentary is about as good as anything you’ll see on the off-the-court life of an inner-city basketball player.

Iona is the No. 1 seed in the MAAC Tournament this weekend in Albany.
