The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced five finalists for the Naismith Boy’s High School Player of the Year on Tuesday.
All five will also participate in the McDonald’s All-American Game on April 1 in Chicago, and possibly the Jordan Brand Classic on April 17 in Brooklyn.
The Naismith All-American teams will be announced March 10 and the winner of Boy’s High School Player of the Year on March 12.

His articles have appeared in ESPN The Magazine, SLAM, Sheridan Hoops, Basketball Times and in newspapers nationwide. He also won an Emmy award for his work on the SNY mini-documentary on Syracuse guard Tyus Battle.
A veteran Ultimate Frisbee player, he has competed in numerous National and World Championships and, perhaps more importantly, his teams won the Westchester Summer League (WSL) championships in 2011 and 2013.
