GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Brace yourself, Yankee fans.

Carmelo Anthony is rooting for the Orioles in this playoff series.

“Yes, I been a Oriole fan since I was like 8 years old,” Anthony, a Baltimore native, said Wednesday after practice. “I actually got a [Oriole] tattoo on me.”

Told that the Orioles haven’t been in the playoffs since 1997, Anthony said, “That’s a long time.”

The Knicks traveled to Washington, D.C., Wednesday, the same day the Yankees and Orioles will play Game 3 of their series at Yankee Stadium.

The Wizards-Knicks preseason game Thursday at the Verizon Center will go head-to-head with Game 4.

“No, I never been a Yankee fan,” Anthony said. “I’m close to some of the guys on the team, support them. I’m kind of mixed feelings right now. You know, here in New York you gotta support the Yankees but I’m an Orioles fan.”

If there’s a Game 5, Anthony might represent the Birds.

“Hopefully, there’s a game Friday and I’ll go,” he said. “I’ll wear an Orioles hat.”

Then, rethinking whether that was wise or not, he added, “I won’t wear nothing at all.”
