  • Chris Bosh May Miss Game 3

    Share Zagsblog Share Zagsblog
The Knicks could catch a break tonight in Game 3 because Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh has returned home to be with his expectant wife.

Bosh’s charter flight arrived in Miami just after 2 a.m. ET on Thursday, according to ESPN.com. He had been in New York with the team before returning home.

The team has a morning shootaround today at Madison Square Garden.

Bosh said he had to be ready at a moment’s notice for the birth of his son.

“I’ve got a beeper so when it goes off, I’ll be ready,” Bosh said, according to ESPN.com. “It’s an exciting time, I’m trying to compete for a championship and prepare for new life. It is a busy time in the Bosh household.”

The Knicks are already without three starters in Amar’e Stoudemire (hand), Iman Shumpert (knee) and Jeremy Lin (knee) and would take any perceived advantage they could get from the Heat, who lead the series 2-0.
