Despite a published report that Jerami Grant has trimmed his list to Rutgers and Maryland, Keith Stevens of Team Takeover says that’s not the case.

“He hasn’t really narrowed it down,” Stevens told SNY.tv by phone. “I don’t know where the hell they got that from.”

Syracuse and Virginia Tech are still in the mix for the 6-foot-7 Grant along with Maryland and Rutgers. N.C. State and Oklahoma have also been mentioned.

“He’s going to make a decision this week probably,” Stevens said.

“We’re all supposed to meet, then we’ll have a better gauge.”

He added: “He’s definitely still wide open.”
