For months, Devin Coleman has been trying to find the right school for himself.

As his senior season and career at Friends Central outside Philadelphia ended last week with a third consecutive Pennsylvania Independent Schools State championship,, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard decided it was time to focus on his recruitment.

Before his season wrapped up, first-year Clemson head coach Brad Brownell decided to offer Coleman a scholarship. This weekend, Coleman made the trip down to South Carolina for an official visit and came out a Tiger.

    “Yessir,” Coleman said by text.

Jared Jeffries could be headed back to the Knicks.

The Houston Rockets waived the seldom-used forward on Friday after a pair of trades made just before Thursday’s deadline.

The 6-foot-11 Jeffries, acquired from New York in the Tracy McGrady deal last February, is in the last year of his contract and will make about $6.9 million this season. He appeared in only 18 games this year – none after Feb. 2 – and never found a place in coach Rick Adelman’s rotation after joining the Rockets.
