  • Syracuse Stays Unbeaten; Pirates Await Word on Hazell

    NEWARK, N.J. – Syracuse managed to go 15-0 before Saturday without playing a single game in their opponent’s arena.

    The No. 4 Orange won neutral court games against Georgia Tech and Michigan in the Legends Classic in Atlantic City in November.

    And Syracuse beat then-No. 7 Michigan State at Madison Square Garden, the Orange’s second home, in December.

    Finally, Syracuse played a true road game and fended off a late challenge from Seton Hall before emerging with a 61-56 victory at The Prudential Center. The crowd of 10,862 appeared about evenly split.
