NEW YORK — Minutes after 40,000 transfixed eyes inside Madison Square Garden gazed on asĀ Amar’e Stoudemire’s 3-pointer at the buzzer was ruled late by a tenth of a second, Glen Davis took a shot of his own.

“What a game, huh?” Big Baby said sarcastically to a room full of reporters in the Celtics’ locker room after Boston won its 11th straight by edging the Knicks, 118-116, in a thriller.

“What a rivalry? Golly gee. What a rival-ry?”

Flashing a broad smile, Davis was having some fun with the crowd.
