  • Walsh Says Surgery Won’t Impede Work

    NEW YORK — Knicks president Donnie Walsh says his impending hip replacement surgery won’t prevent him from doing his job.

    “No. I’ve got a brain, I’ve got a telephone,” Walsh said before the Rockets beat the Knicks, 104-96, Sunday at MSG. “When I was operated on last summer, I got out of the hospital and was in the Draft the next day and I’ve gone from that point to this point.”
