GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Amar’e Stoudemire spent all last week in New York City with his good friend Carmelo Anthony, attending a Jay-Z/Eminem show at Yankee Stadium among other outings.

“He was in a great mood,” Stoudemire, who signed a five-year, $100 million deal with the Knicks in July, said at the Knicks’ Media Day.

“He loves the city of New York. I really don’t know who wouldn’t love the city of New York. It’s such a beautiful, great city. And he’s from here. But I don’t know how much that plays a factor in the decision where he’s going to play.”
