    The hottest American men’s tennis player heading into the U.S. Open isn’t Andy Roddick.

    It isn’t John Isner or Sam Querrey, either.

    No, that honor goes to Mardy Fish.

    After an impressive summer run that included back-to-back wins at Newport, R.I., and Atlanta and his recent runner-up finish to Roger Federer in Cincinnati, Fish heads into the U.S. Open brimming with confidence.
