  • Rutgers’ Rice Hits Recruiting Road

    PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Mike Rice began his first July as the head coach at Rutgers by hitting the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis on Tuesday.

    But he won’t stay there for long.

    “My first six days, I’m in six different cities,” Rice said in a recent interview in his office. “I go Indianapolis to Albright College [Reading, Pa.]. Albright to Cleveland. Cleveland back to [Albright]. Albright to Springfield, Mass. Springfield, Mass. to New Jersey.”
