He spent a year on Norm Roberts’ staff at St. John’s and now leads one of the most powerful and talent-laden AAU programs in New York City. In this interview, he talks about various issues, including his belief that colleges need to add some new blood to their staffs, such as Rice High School coach Moe Hicks, who may soon join Steve Lavin’s staff at St. John’s.

He also won an Emmy award for his work on the SNY mini-documentary on Syracuse guard Tyus Battle.
A veteran Ultimate Frisbee player, he has competed in numerous National and World Championships and, perhaps more importantly, his teams won the Westchester Summer League (WSL) championships in 2011 and 2013.
