The recruitment of Ravenscroft (NC) senior Ryan Kelly gets more and more interesting.

Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey was at Ravenscroft at 6:30 this morning for Kelly’s workout, according to a source.

Then Kelly, ranked No. 8 among power forwards in the Class of 2009, spent the day on an unofficial visit to Duke, where he sat in on a workout, attended some classes and planned to spend the night.

Kelly has taken officials to Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Georgetown. North Carolina and Duke are also in the mix, and Carolina coach Roy Williams is expected to visit Kelly this week.

“I could throw darts,” Kelly told The Fayetville Observer, “and whatever came up would be a good choice.”
