    Tyrekeevans9_13200NEW YORK, NY – One of the first things Tyreke Evans did after committing to Memphis on Wednesday was to reach out to two of the top uncommitted members of the Class of 2008.

    Upon coming to New York, Evans spoke with both Devin Ebanks and Wesley Witherspoon during preparations for Saturday night’s Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden. Both players are considering Memphis and both will visit the school within the next few weeks.

    “After I announced I came up here and talked to Ebanks and he said he’s going to think about it and sit on it and see where he wants to go,” the 6-foot-5 Evans out of Aston (Pa.) American Christian said during a practice session Thursday at Sports Club/LA in Manhattan.
