    On their five-hour bus ride home from Cincinnati on Monday night, Ashton Gibbs and his teammates weren’t quite sure they were going to make it home safely.

    “We didn’t know if the bus driver was falling asleep or if it was the weather,” Gibbs said by phone. “It was a tough ride home and it was [five] hours at that. The bus driver was swerving a little bit, but after a while it calmed down a little.”

    By the time Gibbs and the Panthers finally got to sleep Tuesday morning, it was after 4 a.m.
