Big East Makes History With Three No. 1s

The Big East made Big History on Selection Sunday.
For the first time in history, three teams from a single conference were awarded No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
“It’s hard to win [an NCAA championship] but I just think we‘ve got three of the best seven or eight teams in the country, so I think we’ve got a chance,” Big East Commissioner Mike Tranghese said.
