Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano announced that junior wide receiver Dennis Campbell has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team policy.

A 5-foot-9, 180-pound native of Plantation, Fla., Campbell played in 35 career games making 25 receptions for 307 yards and one touchdown.

Rutgers is already losing wideouts Kenny Britt and Tiquan Underwood to the NFL, so the loss of Campbell puts an added burden on incoming receivers Mark Harrison of Stratford, Conn. and Aaron Hayward of Carneys Point, N.J.
