Former St. John’s star RJ Luis is not on LSU’s roster
“We’re going to follow all the SEC protocols with him,” head coach Will Wade told reporters. “I think it’s been pretty clear what the SEC protocols are on that. He didn’t travel with us to McNeese, and he hasn’t been rostered.”

Luis, a former Big East Player of the Year at St. John’s, won a local court judgement in August to play despite signing multiple NBA contracts.
But the SEC ruled in August that former pro players “should not then be permitted to return to college competition.”
The LSU football team then did not roster former NFL players Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris to comply with SEC protocols.
The LSU basketball roster now has 10 players, including walk-ons.
