Providence has landed an NBA G-League guard for its 2026 recruiting class.
Westchester Knicks guard Dink Pate will play for the Friars next season, according to ESPN.
The 19-year-old guard has spent three seasons playing professional basketball, previously playing for the G-League Ignite and the Mexico City Capitanes of the NBA G-League.
The 6-foot-8 Pate averaged 16.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 36 games for Westchester this season, while shooting 36.8% from deep.
Pate turned down Two-Way and 10-day opportunities in order to maintain college eligibility.
Pate was a former top-30 recruit out of high-school. He will join San Diego State transfer Miles Byrd, who committed to Providence earlier Thursday.
