Oral Roberts star Max Abmas enters transfer portal

Oral Roberts star and former March Madness fan favorite Max Abmas has entered the transfer portal.

The 6-foot guard averaged 21.9 points per game last season on 43.6% shooting while dishing out 4 assists and 4.6 rebounds. He also made 3.5 threes per game, shooting the long ball at a 37.3% clip.

Abmas has averaged north of 20 points in his last three seasons and averaged 26.7 points per game in Oral Roberts’ 2021 run where they became the second 15-seed ever to make the Sweet 16.

He instantly becomes one of the top players in the transfer portal and will presumably get his fair share of Power 5 opportunities.
