Villanova will have its Center City parade celebrating its 2018 NCAA national championship.
“I can’t believe we’re going to do it again,” head coach Jay Wright told reporters. “We did it once. I though alright, ‘No one really gets to do that in their lifetime.’ We got to do it. So you only get that once. It’s going to be really fun for our guys to go through it the first time. It’s going to be fun for us, too. When you do that the first time, you’re coming down the streets of Philadelphia and everyone’s hanging out of buildings and packing the streets and everyone’s screaming and yelling and the music’s playing. It’s fun.” The Wildcats won their second NCAA title in three years on Monday night with a 79-62 victory over Michigan, making Wright just the third active coach with more than one title.Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter And Like ZAGS on FacebookJay Wright now has more rings than Jim Boeheim, John Calipari, Tom Izzo or Bill Self, and joins Denny Crum, Billy Donovan, Rick Pitino and Dean Smith among coaches with 2. https://t.co/uqqdAmJaJv
