Devontae Shuler, the 6-3 shooting guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Monday after returning from an unofficial visit on Sunday.
Shuler chose Ole Miss over Oklahoma State and joins Parker Stewart as the second commit in coach Andy Kennedy’s 2017 class.
“What I like about Devontae is that he is a two-way player,” said Oak Hill coach, Steve Smith. “On the offensive end he has great three-point range, attacks the rim, and is very efficient making one and two dribble pull-ups. Defensively, he is a lockdown [defender] on the ball handler.”
