During the elementary stage of the fall evaluation period, Notre Dame is headed to Williston Northhampton (MA) to see a burgeoning high major recruit in 2028 PSA Cardinals guard/wing Kingsley Rogers.

A 6-foot-7 multi-layered scoring threat possessing a soaring above-rim finishing prowess, Rogers said he’s been hearing from Notre Dame and Utah with frequency in recent times.

“Notre Dame, they’ve shown that they just like me a lot, they really just like how I play and who I am off the court as well,” said Rogers, who has transformed his game with a polished inside-outside arsenal and the defensive versatility which enables him to guard nearly every position.

“They will be here for our open gym tomorrow.”

As soon as the contact period opened up back on June 15th, Rogers heard from a vast array of programs– Rutgers, Baylor, Marquette, Hofstra, Auburn, Utah, Syracuse, and Buffalo–to name a few.

Rogers, the son of former Baylor star Kevin Rogers and legendary Baylor shot-blocker Danielle Wilson, is from Long Island originally.

And thus, Hofstra appears to be making him a priority.

“They are right nearby me,” said Rogers.

“(Assistant) Coach Drew (Metz), he’s been recruiting me a lot. He’s always checking in me. He’s been emphasizing just how he likes my style of play and how I am both on and off the court.”

Utah has also been in hot pursuit of Rogers, with a dogged recruiter in assistant coach Raphael Chillious keeping tabs on Rogers throughout the summer and staying consistent.

“Coach Chill, he’s been really motivational and he says he is going to Come out here soon,” Rogers said.

Albany, Boston College, and several other programs appear intrigued by Rogers and his adequate feel for the game.
