Last season’s National Title game participants are running it back next season.
The reigning National Champion, Michigan, is set to take on the UConn Huskies in Boston as one of two non-conference matchups hosted by the Naismith Hall of Fame in partnership with Position Sports. Providence and Syracuse will also participate in the Hall of Fame Series.
“Boston has quickly established itself as one of the premier destinations for elite college basketball, and this winter’s slate at TD Garden is a reflection of that,” Melissa Meacham-Grossman, President of Position Sports said. “Having UConn, Michigan, Syracuse, and Providence all come through the city in a single season speaks to the demand in this market and the relationships we have built here. We are proud to keep raising the bar for what the Hall of Fame Series delivers in New England.”
UConn is no stranger to playing games at TD Garden, holding a large contingent of fans in the area.
The clash between the two finalists will be one of the most anticipated non-conference matchups of the season.
