Niko Bundalo, the No. 31 overall prospect in the 2025 class, has decommitted from Washington and received a release from his National Letter of Intent, ZAGSBLOG is told.

The Prolific Prep standout is one of the best power forwards in the 2025 class. He shined against the top competition during the McDonald’s All-American game in early April, posting 12 points with six rebounds, one steal and a block. He was a beast on the offensive glass and showed his relentless motor.

“Niko is an elite modern forward due to his two way versatility,” Prolific head coach Ryan Bernardi told ZAGSBLOG. “Offensively, Niko can make shots from deep and hurt you around the rim. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions due to his length and foot speed. He has great coordination and pursues rebounds very well.”

The power forward narrowed his list of schools to Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State and UConn before deciding on Washington. He visited all of those program, but all four of those schools now have a top-100 class of 2025 commit at the power forward position.

Bundalo also held offers from the likes of Alabama, Creighton, Illinois, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Pitt, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Texas Tech, UCLA and Virginia Tech, as well as Iowa, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Xavier with its old staffs.

St. John’s and Kansas State are two schools to look out for to land Bundalo, per source.

Washington still has five class of 2025 commits in Courtland Muldrew, JJ Mandaquit, Jasir Rencher, international prospect Hannes Steinbach and JUCO product Mady Traore.
