Marcus Jackson, the 6-foot-10, 235-pound, four-star power forward from Arizona Compass Prep and Team Thrill, has committed to Maryland, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The Baltimore native chose the Terps over Auburn, Arizona State, Georgetown, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Iowa after visiting this past weekend.

“I picked Maryland because I felt it was a great fit and [because of] the connection with the players and coaches,” he said., “I’m not just looking for a place to play basketball, I’m looking for my new home and Maryland is that ‼️”

Jackson is coach Kevin Willard’s first pledge in the Class of 2025.
