Jayden Kelsey, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound Class of 2025 shooting guard from the Westtown (PA) School, committed to Binghamton.

He chose Binghamton over Lafayette and NJIT.

“I picked Binghamton simply because Binghamton picked me,” he said. “I love the coaching staff. Academically and athletically they have everything I need to be successful during my time there and set me up for my time after college.

“I bring a versatile skill set with the ability to stretch the floor but also be a playmaker and use my high IQ to my advantage even at the next level, also being able to be an impact player and leader even from Day 1.

“In my recruiting process, I was not worried about high-major and low-major during the process because I knew that I was gonna go somewhere where I was truly wanted and welcomed into and that was Binghamton.

“Jayden made a great choice in Binghamton and Coach [Levell] Sanders,” Westtown coach Seth Berger told ZAGSBLOG. “As a multidimensional offensive player who can also guard as many as 4 positions at the next level, Jayden can have an immediate impact as a freshman.”
