DENVER –– After transferring out West to Dream City Christian (AZ), sophomore shooting guard Ikenna Alozie is enjoying the competition of the Grind Session circuit. And Alozie has picked up some key high major offers as well, with several programs standing out.

“It’s my first time [playing in the Grind Session],” said Alozie, who runs with the NY Rens on the Nike EYBL circuit. “I have been watching a lot of the Grind Session because I knew I was going to partake in it. And I was looking forward to it. And I found it to be very good.”

Ranked a five-star guard in the 247Sports Composite, Alozie is an athletic guard from Nigeria with good court awareness and basketball instincts. A handful of notable programs have taken note of Ikenna’s talents as well.

“Kansas, Oregon, UCLA, Villanova, and Kansas State,” he said of of his newest offers.

Alozie has yet to take any unofficial visits and has no favorites at the moments.

“They’re all good programs, but I’m looking for more of everything because you can never be satisfied,” he said of his offers.

He, however, did mention an assistant coach from UCLA has been at three of his games already this season. And he mentioned UCLA as one of three schools he is hearing from the most.

“Kansas, Kansas State, and UCLA for sure,” he said.
