Class of 2024 four-star combo guard Bishop Boswell has committed to Tennessee, he announced Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound guard from Myers Park (NC) and the Team CP3 AAU program — chose the ‘Vols over Georgia, Missouri, Wake Forest and Xavier.

Boswell visited Georgia last weekend with four-star small forward Khani Rooths but ultimately committed to Tennessee instead.

“Bishop is one of the best two-way guards in the country,” his coach Nick Jones told ZAGSBLOG. “He’s a high level rebounder and defender. He plays downhill and sets the pace with his athleticism and physicality. His best basketball is ahead of him and will be a tremendous college lead guard.”

Boswell broke down his decision to On3 Sports:

“I chose Tennessee because of the winning culture that the program has and coach Barnes has had over his career,” Boswell said. “As well as the relationship coach has with his players to love them while also getting the best out of them and developing them on the court. Also how passionate the fans and teachers are about their student-athletes.”

Boswell is ranked the No. 65 player in the nation per 247Sports and the No. 7 overall prospect in the state of North Carolina. Boswell helped lead Myers Park to a state championship in 2023.
