Kansas transfer center Ernest Udeh will stay in the Big 12 and play for the TCU Horned Frogs next season, he announced on social media.

Udeh, the 6-foot-11, 250-pound center from Orlando (FL), had a limited role at Kansas this past year. The big man averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game during his freshman campaign with the Jayhawks. Udeh was efficient last season, shooting over 75% from the field. This included a Kansas record 21 consecutive field goals made over 17 games.

The former McDonald’s All-American is ranked as the No. 19 overall transfer by Evan Miya, giving Udeh five-star transfer status. He will bring the Horned Frogs length and athleticism out of the five spot.

“An opportunity to grow as a basketball player and a young man is all I wanted,” Udeh said to 247Sports. “Coach [Jamie] Dixon and TCU can provide that for me.”

Udeh adds to Dixon’s impressive transfer portal haul this offseason. TCU has already picked up commitments from former Delaware guard Jameer Nelson Jr., former Oklahoma State guard Avery Anderson, former Texas A&M-CC guard Trey Tennyson and former Coastal Carolina center Essam Mostafa.

The Horned Frogs are also still waiting on NBA Draft decisions from Damion Baugh and Emanuel Miller.
